Chrissy Teigen — model, mom, and personality known for her witty social media presence — has been tweeting snarky comments and flat-out insults about Donald Trump for just over seven years now, she told USA Today Sports in February.
But apparently, it took Teigen tweeting “no one likes you” to get blocked by the President of the United States.
Teigen posted her comment on Twitter Sunday in response to Trump’s tweet about fellow Republicans doing “very little to protect their President.”
Teigen’s tweet that she’s been blocked by Trump has now amassed more than 369,000 likes. She has been blocked from following and viewing tweets from @realDonaldTrump. The account, which Trump has used for years, boasts 34.5 million followers. He also tweets from @POTUS, which has 19.5 million followers.
Teigen joins the ranks of other notables who have been blocked by the president, including Stephen King and (also as of Sunday) Rosie O’Donnell and Keith Olbermann.
Earlier this month, the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of several people who’ve been blocked by Trump on Twitter. The suit claims that the president’s blocking of Twitter users is a violation of First Amendment freedom of speech rights.
