Mario Cantone nails this impression of Scaramucci on Comedy Central

We were betting that the apppointment of Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director was going to be good news for Chris Kattan. The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member looks an awful lot like “The Mooch” and, well, his career hasn’t exactly taken off since “SNL.”

But the job’s been filled. Mario Cantone, the Stoneham native best known for playing Anthony Marentino on “Sex and the City,” pretty much nailed Scaramucci in an appearance Thursday on Comedy Central’s “The President Show.”

“I’m going to fire so many people. I don’t know who it’s going to be, Reince, but I’m going to get to the bottom of the leaks in the White House. Do you hear me, Reince?” said Cantone’s Scaramucci, riffing on Scaramucci’s epic rant to New Yorker writer Ryan Lizza about White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

“Wow, I love ethnics,” said Anthony Atamanuik’s President Trump.

Cantone, who graduated from Emerson College, used to appear on “Chappelle’s Show” and is a regular on Broadway.
