Here is everything Aaron Hernandez was charged with, and how the jury decided

The jury of seven women and five men who deliberated in the Aaaron Hernandez double murder trial acquitted Hernandez of seven of the eight charges he faced. Here are the charges.

MURDER:

Hernandez was charged with two counts of murder for the deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado on July 16, 2012 as they sat in a BMW stopped at a traffic light in Boston’s South End.

The jury acquitted Hernandez of both first-degree and second-degree murder.

CHARGES CONNECTED TO SURVIVING VICTIMS IN THE BMW:

Hernandez was also charged with three counts of armed assault with intent to murder for firing at the three surviving occupants of the BMW. He was also charged with one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for the non-fatal shooting of one of the surviving occupants, the only person other than de Abreu and Furtado who was actually struck by gunfire during the incident.

The jury found Hernandez not guilty of all the charges.

CHARGE CONNECTED TO STATE’S STAR WITNESS:

Hernandez was charged with one count of witness intimidation for allegedly shooting Alexander Bradley in February 2013 in Florida in an effort to silence him about the killings. He was acquitted of that charge, however, the jury found Hernandez guilty of one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, the only guilty finding in the case.
