Four charged in kidnapping, rape of teen in Auburn

Three men and a woman were arrested in Auburn on Thursday in connection with the kidnapping, rape, and assault of a teenage girl, Worcester district attorney spokesman Paul Jarvey said.

The four were arraigned Thursday and ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing Jan. 3 in Worcester District Court, Jarvey said in an e-mail.

Krystal Lugo, 23, is charged with kidnapping, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and larceny under $250. Christopher Lugo, 19, is charged with kidnapping, drugging to confine, and rape. Yuleny Ortiz, 19, is charged with kidnapping. Yariel Torres-Abee, 22, is charged with kidnapping and assault and battery. All four pleaded not guilty Thursday.
