Massachusetts State Police closed part of Morrissey Boulevard while the drawbridge was stuck in the open position for nearly three hours Saturday evening.
The bridge got stuck at around 6:30 p.m., State Police spokesman David Procopio said in an e-mail.
Police diverted traffic on Interstate 93 at exit 14 while crews worked to get the bridge up and running.
The bridge was reopened at 9:15 p.m., Procopio said.
