Ground broken on Revere apartments

Contractors recently broke ground on the construction of 230 luxury rental apartments on Ocean Avenue in Revere, the second phase of the massive Waterfront Square redevelopment at the MBTA Wonderland station. The apartments are being developed by Upton + Partners, with Plumb House serving as contractor and Arrowstreet the architect. Meanwhile, construction is nearing completion on the first phase of the oceanfront redevelopment, a 194-unit luxury housing complex. Eurovest Development is master developer of the overall project, which calls for about 1,000 high-end residential units and a hotel and retail space clustered around the public plaza and a pedestrian bridge that opened in 2013 next to the MBTA's new garage and busway at Wonderland Station.
