Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump this morning.
The musician entered the Trump Tower shortly after 9 a.m. with a large entourage. West was not accompanied by wife Kim Kardashian West.
The 39-year-old recently spent over a week in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles for stress and exhaustion.
In remarks to the press following the meeting, President-elect Trump said the two have been “friends for a long time” and said they discussed “life.”
West stood next to Trump in the lobby but did not comment. He said on Twitter that he wanted to discuss “multicultural issues” with the incoming president.
At a concert in November, West said he didn’t vote, but if he had he ‘‘would have voted for Trump.’’
