Trump’s inauguration schedule includes wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery

The festivities around President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Arlington National Cemetery, according to a schedule released Wednesday by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

The wreath-laying on Jan. 19 will be followed by a “welcome celebration” at the Lincoln Memorial. On Friday, President-elect Trump will be sworn into office, followed by the inaugural parade and balls. The festivities will conclude with a prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral on Saturday.

Jan. 19

• Wreath Laying Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery

• Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration at Lincoln Memorial (Ticket required for special viewing areas. No ticket required for general public viewing areas.)

Jan. 20

• Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony at the US Capitol

• Inaugural Parade along Pennsylvania Avenue (Ticket required for special viewing areas. No ticket required for general public viewing areas.)

• Inaugural Balls (Ticket required – limited availability.)

Jan. 21

• National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral
