Massachusetts will be well-represented at this year’s US Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Rob Oppenheim of Andover, Matt Parziale of Brockton, and Matt Naumec of Wilbraham each qualified after competing in sectional qualifiers Monday. From June 13-16, they will join Wellesley native Michael Thorbjornsen, who earned his spot with a victory in the 2018 US Junior Amateur, at Pebble Beach.

Parziale finished second while Oppenheim finished fourth in their qualifier at Century Country Club and Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase, N.Y. Parziale shot 1-over 142 for 36 holes. Oppenheim finished 2 over, which tied him with Kelly Kraft of Dallas. With only four able to qualify, Oppenheim had to defeat Kraft in a two-hole playoff.

Naumec took second at the Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla County, Wash., as he shot a 7-under 137.

Overall, 15 Massachusetts natives competed Monday.

Naumec, 22, will compete in his first US Open after wrapping up his college career at Boston College this spring. He made his professional debut at the Canada Life Open, a PGA Tour Canada event, in late May.

Oppenheim, 39, has participated on the PGA Tour, Web.com Tour, and Nationwide Tour. His résumé includes victories at the 2002 Massachusetts Amateur and the 2009 Massachusetts Open; only seven golfers have accomplished that double.

Pebble Beach is not new to him, either. Oppenheim competed there in 1999, advancing to the Round of 16 of the US Amateur.

Parziale, who turns 32 Wednesday, will return to Pebble Beach after competing there in the US Amateur in August 2018.

PGA Tour pro Keegan Bradley, who graduated from Hopkinton High School, also will play in the US Open.
