The early lines on this year’s World Series show the Red Sox as favorites over the Dodgers.
The Dodgers captured the National League pennant Saturday with a 5-1 win over the Brewers in Milwaukee.
According to sports betting reporter Patrick Everson, the Red Sox were minus-125 favorites as of early Sunday morning according to the Westgate SuperBook. They started at minus-135, Everson reported.
The Red Sox were minus-118 as of 5:15 a.m. Sunday, according to OddsPortal.com.
Game 1 is Tuesday at 8:09 p.m. at Fenway Park.
The Red Sox and Dodgers last met in August 2016. The Dodgers won two of three games in Los Angeles.
