Linda Holliday, the former girlfriend of Bill Belichick, made waves this week when a photo of her dressed as Uma Thurman’s character in the movie “Kill Bill” surfaced online, sparking speculation that the costume was meant as a none-too-subtle message to the legendary coach.
The photo, which shows Holliday dressed as Beatrix “the Bride” Kiddo from the 2003 film, complete with the character’s yellow suit and samurai sword, first appeared online Tuesday, TMZ reported.
Reaction was swift. Radio host Rich Shertenlieb osted the photo to X beneath a caption that read “Bill Belichick’s ex, Linda Holliday, reportedly dressed as The Bride from ‘Kill Bill’ this weekend. #OhMy.”

Holliday apparently took umbrage to online critics who thought her choice of costume was an attack on Belichick.

On Wednesday, she responded on her Instagram story, TMZ reported. The message appeared to have disappeared from her story as of Thursday afternoon.
“Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING?” Holliday wrote. “Y’all would never have survived in the Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, etc etc days..,,, shoot you wouldn’t survive the late night talk’s [sic] shows like Jay Leno or David Letterman. For the love of God, laugh a little. Lighten up. Everything isn’t an attack....”
While Holliday has evidently moved on from the legendary coach, the 72-year-old former New England Patriots head coach has turned the page as well.
In June, People reported that Belichick and 24-year-old Jordon Hudson were dating, and began seeing each other in 2023 after Belichick’s split from Holliday after 16 years.
Belichick and Hudson, a former college cheerleader, met in 2021 after bonding over a philosophy project that Hudson was working on, Page Six reported. Hudson graduated from Bridgewater State in 2022, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Holliday’s costume hit the Internet soon after former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had his own viral moment involving his ex.
After it emerged Monday that his former wife Gisele Bündchen is pregnant, Brady posted an Instagram story set to the Chicks’ cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”
Brady’s story featured a sunset photo with three red heart emojis, but no text other than lyrics from the melancholic song scrolling in the bottom right corner: “Oh mirror in the sky, what is love / Can the child inside my heart rise above / Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?”
