Tom Brady told WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan” that he and Gisele Bundchen are in a “great place.” During his Tuesday interview on the radio show, Brady said his marriage is just fine, despite a story put out by celeb publication Us Weekly, which said last week that Bundchen threatened Brady with a divorce after he received his now-overturned Deflategate sentence in May. “There’s no bigger supporter I have than her,” Brady said. Brady started the interview by addressing a question about his father, Tom Brady Sr., who called into KGO radio in San Francisco last week to defend his son and to call NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a “flaming liar.” Brady told WEEI, “. . . It gets pretty emotional, so . . . he’s been of great support my entire life and I am sure it’s been hard for him, for my mom, for everyone in my family, you know, just like it’s been for me and for everyone involved.” At the end of the interview, Brady explained why he has a Donald Trump “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker. Brady said he’s known Trump since 2002, when he judged a Miss USA pageant. “Imagine that — I was a judge at a Miss USA pageant in 2002,” Brady said. “I’ve known him for a long time.” Brady didn’t say he’d vote for Trump, but said, of the presidential candidate, “Honestly, he’s a good friend. We’ve had a lot of time on the golf course together over the years.”
On Saturday, Gisele posted a photo of Brady playing soccer with the couple’s daughter to Instagram with the caption “and my heart melts...#biggestlove”
