Amy Schumer was at SoulCycle at Legacy Place in Dedham this week. The actress and comedienne is working on her new movie, “I Feel Pretty.” She was there Tuesday through Thursday.
The movie, which comes out next June, is about a woman who suffers a head injury and wakes up believing she is very beautiful, undoubtedly leading to some Schumer-esque shenanagins. The movie is co-directed and co-written by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, and also stars Emily Ratajkowski of “Gone Girl” and Michelle Williams from “Manchester by the Sea.”
One has to wonder how Schumer’s newly confident character will like SoulCycle. The idea is reminiscient of a 2013 sketch from her comedy series “Inside Amy Schumer” in which Schumer plays a crude exercise instructor who calls the workout “a
funeral for the fat you.”
