Eastern Mass. boys’ basketball: Players of the Week, Dec. 24-30

Here are the notable performances from high school boys’ basketball players this past week in Eastern Mass. conference/leagues.

Jaydaan Correia, Cambridge — The 6-foot-4-inch senior wing averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds in wins over Natick (53-45) and Attleboro (66-60), while also leading the Falcons defense throughout the Cambridge Legends Classic, earning tournament MVP honors.

Ethan Elie, Braintree — The lone returning starter from a successful run last season dropped 34 points in a 72-65 win over Concord-Carlisle, and 25 points in the Adams Holiday Tournament final to lead the Wamps to a 65-48 win over Belmont.

Kise Flannery, Catholic Memorial — A two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, the senior guard ran the show with 28 points, 17 rebounds, and 13 assists in wins over Arlington (68-60) and Newton South (69-64) to be named MVP of the Garden City Classic.

Javi Lopez, Central Catholic — The MVP of the Commonwealth Motors Classic averaged 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in wins over Lawrence (62-55), Greater Lawrence (62-43), and Beverly (76-62), with a game-high 33 points in the tournament final.

Dylan Raffle, Milton — Raffle was all over the court throughout the Derrick Snowden Tournament, totaling 23 points, 14 rebounds, 14 assists, and 7 steals combined in two games — an easy win over CASH, and then a 68-65 overtime triumph over Randolph to take home the trophy.

Jonny Sullivan, Tewksbury — The senior captain led the Redmen to a third straight win in the Romano Holiday Tournament with averages of 18 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in wins over Chelmsford (71-65) and Burlington (68-62).
